IT'S A BOOK!

So today at last the news came. Top Shelf Comics is publishing Second Thoughts early 2009! I couldn't be happier and I have no idea what to do. I'll probably go for an overnight drunk and start working on my next book tomorrow. I already have it planned out in my head.

This also is the end of this Second Thoughts blog. From now on I'll do all my blogging over at http://www.niklasasker.blogspot.com. Illustrations, comics, the shit.

So get over there and check it.

2008!

No posts for a while. I've been working like crazy on the book and now I have the whole thing sketched out. Only a few pages left to ink! Feels weird but really nice. Here's page 54. Come back for more soon!

Inked and ready. One of my favourites so far. Drawing this book is so much more fun and easy when I don't have to focus on commercial work at the same time. I wich I could do this all the time... someday.

Now even I have to sleep. I'll be back.

Today was a good day...

...I didn't even have to use my AK...
Two more sketches for the people. Pages 47 and 48. I realised a few pages into the book that there's a lot of stuff happening at night, wich made me e bit nervous since I've never considered myself a king of shadows. But I'm getting more and more comfortable with using a lot of black. These two turned out quite nice. More soon!
